A friend of the wife needs somewhere to stay, and the friend has a past everyone in the house knows about. My Wife's Best Friend puts Riley Reid's licensed likeness in the spare room of a marriage and lets the husband do the rest. Five episodes, two of them free, and on our scale it is a 5, level with My Stepmom's Weekend as her most explicit series.
Before anyone crosses a line
The free episodes are the move-in and the first awkward days. The series is knowing about who she is, and the husband’s discomfort is the comedy. It is all talk and glances, safe for work, and it gives you forty per cent of the running time for nothing, which is enough to decide whether you like the register.
The turn
Episode three is the paywall and the point where the series becomes explicit, and it does not ease in. It goes straight to the top of our scale and stays there. Of the seven series with a real performer’s likeness, this and My Stepmom’s Weekend are the two that reach a 5; the others sit at a 3.
What thirty tokens an episode gets you
Three paid episodes, ninety tokens, and afterwards a character you can keep talking to who is Riley Reid’s own profile rather than a name written for the story. The platform tags it wife and romance, which describe the situation and nothing about how far it goes; the score does that job.
